Hi, my name is Vishva Nath Dutt Sharma, I am software engineer at @GoJek, graduated in Information Technology, playing with command line and strong believer of Free and Open Source philosophy.

• Set up PiHole on Cloud(VM), thus disabling ads/malware all across my devices, wrote a guide.

• Gave a talk on Fake News, Rumours, Hate : Social Media, Connecting or Destroying Lives? slides here

• Wrote a blog post on “Why Privacy Matters ?” link

Abandoned Projects(couldn’t find time/priority to finish)

• Sentimental Analysis of Tweets, you can find my work at Git repo. Phase 1 of project is completed.
• Making a Long Short Term Memory(LSTM) network to enact like me and reply to messages.

Past Projects

• Codechef Virtual Contests - Made a Full Stack Python based Web Application, which can emulate Codechef Programming contests in Virtual Mode. Link to project(Does not work due to high server costs), Github Repo, Slides for understanding, Video Presentation.

  This project was developed during Codechef-Alibaba Hackathon, My team (Poor Villagers) won 2nd prize globally. Final Standings

• Build a application to prioritize tasks for the day using eisenhower’s matrix, build in GoLang, powered by revel. Link to repo.

• Made a Simpl_Bookmark application, easy to use and access, an alternative to Pocket app, head over to - http://35.222.229.121 powered by flask and redis, link to repository

• Face Rec - Given a Image, It finds whether there is face present or not, If present then is it of Narendra Modi or Arvind Kejeriwal. Web App live at(not anymore, hosting costs are too much) Image-recog.eigencoders.com and git repo is here.

• Mass downloading of Images from Reddit, fork it from here

• Local Http Server - We faced problem due to downtime of internet, so I made this to share files over same network. Fork it here.

• Reddit bot - My first project playing with APIs, used praw.

• Fearch - Contributed to development of this browser extension,used in searching files over FTP. I wrote a nice article of my work progress during those days, you can read it here.

• Local Activity Tracker (under progress) - Helpful in conducting online examination by sending screenshot, camera recording(face tracking) to server helpful in judging whether person taking exam is cheating or not.(Could never focus on this)

Plans to do in future

• Design a computer from scratch, completing NAND to TETRIS Course.
• Doing Masters in Computers and Human Psychology. \m/
• Work for improving Primary Education System in my country.
